UFC Fight Night on ESPN+: Blachowicz vs. Jacare in São Paulo will stream live and exclusively on ESPN+ this Saturday, November 16, at 8 p.m. ET from Brazil’s Ginásio do Ibirapuera. The main event features an intriguing matchup in the UFC light heavyweight division as Jan Blachowicz (24-8) from Poland takes on Brazilian Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza (26-7). The co-main event will see Mauricio “Shogun” Rua (26-11) take on Paul Craig (12-4) in a light heavyweight bout. All fights on the card will be available for individual fight-by-fight replay on ESPN+ immediately following each bout.
Blachowicz, the No. 6 ranked UFC light heavyweight, is coming off a statement victory at UFC 239 in which he knocked out former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold in devastating fashion. Meanwhile, Souza, the UFC’s No. 8 ranked middleweight, makes his light heavyweight debut after dropping a tough five-round decision to Jack Hermansson in April. Fans can anticipate an action-packed bout as Blachowicz and Souza have each won post-fight bonuses in three of their last four events.
In the co-main event, Rua, the former UFC light heavyweight champion, is fighting for the first time in nearly a year, following his third round TKO of Tyson Pedro, for which he won a “Performance of the Night” bonus last December. Craig is coming off his own “Performance of the Night” bonus for his first round submission of Vinicius Moreira in September.ESPN.com:
